how to check transmission fluid
How do I check transmission fluid level on my 2001 C320.?.I have only a plastic plug where the trans dipstick should be?? Did they do the same dumb thing they did with engine oil?? I can only check engine oil from console...

i have an '04 C230K and it is the same way. i actually didn't know what that plug was for until i read your post. That is pretty dumb. couldn't i just take an fabricated dipstick and shove it down there...match the markings up with a known good dipstick?
