Default XENON light for 2001 C320

I want to upgrade to Xenon head light for my 2001 C320. I don't know too much about Xenon lights. What are my options? I've seen all kinds of terms, such as HID and Bi-Xenon. Could you please help me out here?

If you currently have halogen headlights, you can upgrade to (bi) xenons very easily. It's a matter of swapping headlights (after removing the front bumper first). However, you DO need to get your car's EIS reprogrammed at the dealer through Stardiagnose; xenons must be set to present. Without this reprogramming, your headlights won't work properly (they will flicker) which can cause damage to the bi xenons.

As for differences: the most appearant difference is, that xenons have frosted lenses, and bi xenons come with clear lenses. There are some more differences, though, and you can read more about it in this link:

Go With the REAL OE Mercedes Bixenons The Aftermarkit kits are of POOR Quality and do NOT have the correct Reflector or lens...so all one gets is a Blue light..I Had EURO Bixenons on my Class coupe from www.mbenznl.com and they are OE Mercedes parts ..Great Prices also!

HID conversion kit is the most affordable way to upgrade to xenons. Next step up is HID conversion kit with DEPO projector headlamps for xenon/appearance upgrade. Last step is OEM upgrade with bi-xenons which is best solution but most pricey at the same time.
