Hi all,

I have an annoying little problem that seems to be getting more annoying.

For some reason my wiper's starting (rest?) position keeps moving higher up on my windshield. It started the other day when I must have moved the wipers while cleaning ice off the windshield.

Right now the wipers are sitting smack dab in the middle of my windshield. When activated they will go through the full range of motion (covering the entire windshield) but keep returning to the center position when switched off. They're about 3 inches higher than they were yesterday .

Is this an easy fix? Any help on how to get the wipers to return to their rightful home would be greatly appreciated.

 

alot of benzs with that problem all models. you need to remove cowl and wiper assembly, remove linkage from motor and then activate the motor and shut off, then put linkage back on. should fix it.
