The wiper on my '95 280 quit in the middle of a rain storm. The entire arm will move across the windshield freely, but the linkage still extends and retracts the arm as it should. When I turn on the wipers I can hear the motor working, so I'm assuming the nylon (plastic) gear I read about on a post is the problem. Does anyone know of an outlet for purchasing the gear?

The post I read said to replace the entire motor, or get a gear from a salvage yard. If that's the only option, will the gear only work from a w202 or will other models work?
