Winter troubles
Hi all,
Just bought a 51 plate C180, great car, fantastic condition and all was working fine up until the great freeze of Dec 2010.
Not sure if moisture has caused the problem on the sensor at the rear view mirror, but the other night all my auto functions in the car have stopped working.
My auto lights stay on all the time, my auto windscreen wiper does not work, Interior lighting wont switch on, I have no auto light when I lock my car, cruise control and accelerator limiting not working. All in all everything in now like a normal car, and by that I mean everything apart from the interior lighting and accelerator limiting and cruise control works in normal mode.
I have read that hooking it up to the Star diagnostics may fix the problem by re-setting the system, I hope this may be the situation as I am starting to get worried this could cost me a lot of money which I do not have.
Has anyone else had the same problem? and is there a solution I am not aware of.
Thank you for reading
Joc
