Default Windshield wiper having issues 2000 c230 Kompressor

I have a C230 Kompressor year 2000. I love the car, but have had some problems with the windshield wiper. The motor seems to be running but the wiper will not go by its self. You can hear the motor spinning and if you move the wiper alittle by hand it will take off and finish the stroke to the begining position, but that is it. It almost acts like It has a clutch and it needs to be tightened. Please, if you know anything about these could you help me out. I have exposed the motor and the thing the motor is attached to and I dont know what to do next. On thetop of the device that the motor is attached to it had this part number. A 202 820 21 08

Carefully pop off the large plastic cover at the base of the arm and clean off all corrosion/ oxidation from the drive linkage mechanism. Lubricate it well with lithium base grease and carefully work it by hand a few times. Hopefully this is your solution to a common problem.
