Default Window Glasses

Nowadays, it seems MB uses a garden variety of window glass suppliers and I do not see any particular pattern.

PPG, Sekurit, and the third one is Remington-sound-alike odd-ball-name that I could not remember.

Or is there a pattern that I am not seeing? Such as the more expensive ones get the Sekurit and the cheapest ones get the PPG?

Default RE: Window Glasses

I called a few windshield replacement shops in the area and non had a replacement windshield for my 99 C280. Its a Mercedes thing I guess. I had no need for a new windshield, but someone told me they were available from Mercedes only, and around here this seems to be a fact?
