warning for brakes?

warning for brakes?
Hi ,
could someone please advise me, I just put on new brakes on my mercededes c200 kompressor and its now giving me a warning light on the dashboard stating that the pads are worn and to visit a vnedor..How do I get this warning off as I have new breakpads on?
