W202 What's the difference of Classic, Esprit, Elegant and Sport please?

sorry this maybe a very silly question for most of the members here but I'm thinking of getting a C180 W202

The elegence or Elegent package has full leather interior, the grille has all chrome strips across the slats, Bose sound system ESP and that's about all I can think off. The C180 is not sold in the USA, I have a C280 model year 99 with the elegence package as it is called here.

I've been told there are loads of eletric parts problems with Mercedes W202, is that true?

And I've seen the average 2nd hand price of Esprit is higher than Elegant. I wonder why???

 

In my experience, that's more the reputation of the W203.
