Default Voltage readout trick

Looking for the procedure to display voltage on the instrument panel. I knew it at one time and have forgotten, it was some sequence of pushing switches to get the car to display system voltage. I've been having intermittent charging problems, just replaced the voltage regulator for the second time and want to make sure I know what is happening with the charging system BEFORE the idiot light comes on. Thanks in advance!

I do seem to remember that part now, do you know the rest of the sequence to get it to display on the dash?

1. Turn key to pos. 1
2. Immediately press and hold the odo reset button for ~30 secs.
3. Now (if you were fast enough pressing the button after placed key in pos 1) you will hear a short beep.
4. On the left steering wheel button, press the one that looks like a paper-sheet under another paper-sheet
5. Now you will see a new menu, that you can nav around just like any of the other menues.
6. To disable this menu, just turn key to pos 0, remove the key, and insert it again
