1999 C43

I'm having a tough time getting a secure fit for my rear-facing Britax Roundabout in the center position. The Britax encourages a tether while rear-facing, usually to a front seat... basically anything bolted to the floor. I can't find anything to wrap the tether connector strap around. Anyone know of anything under the seat or elsewhere on the floor?? The strap is about 1" wide, material like a seatbelt.

When the time comes (in 1-2 years) to turn the car seat around, I'll need to do a top tether. Anyone know where the tether anchors are there?

I should mention the car was originally sold in Canada (therefore required to have top tethers??). Yes, I had the speedo changed when I bought it for California.

 

Answered my own question!
I found a bar underneath the front seat that appears to be fixed to the floor (need to get under there with a flashlight to confirm), but does not move with the seat. Tether works great on it.
