Ditto. Does anyone out there have any suggestions on this one? Hard to believe that the system is untouchable...

I have the same question about removing a radio. i have a 97 c230. I need the rdio serial #'s to get the radio codes. it's not the original radio so MB needs the #s

any help would be great.

Take a look at this link. There is quite a bit of info especially under the "What's New" section. Also take a look in the board for any other stereo/radio related questions/answers.

there is a special tool that fit on the left and right hand side of the radio in between the radio and the wood paneling. pretty much the only way to get it out i think
