I have a 95 c-280 with the SRS light staying on for approx 2 minutes instead of the normal 5 seconds--------anyone have any suggestions on what to look for first----

 

just thought id let you know...my light came on unexpectedly. it was the harness under the front of the passenger seat for my passengers side air bag sensor. the harness is red. turns out one of the prongs was pushed into the harness and wasn't connecting for power. it is located in a strip that is attached to the seat with two phillips head screws. i removed them and the strip was free enough to push the prong back into the harness and connect. solved my problem. hope this helps. at least pull the harness and check it.
