Default Square on the Bumpers

Hi There,
I've searched and searched with no luck. Can someone tell me what the square on the front and rear bumper, passenger side are for please?

Thanks.

I bet if you remove the square there are threads.A "hook" that can be screwed into the threads and used as a tie down when towing the car. They might only use this on the boat over from Germany. I bet that is it.

In the spare tire kit there should be large threaded rod with an eye opening on the oppisite end. if the car needs to be towed you can screw it into the bumper. only thing is if you try to remove the squares you do risk damaging the bumper.

Simply just in case you break down and you need a tow, or to tow somebody else!
