Speeding ticket cost $1 million AND your car?
Which is worse? A million dollar speeding ticket? or losing your black Mercedes SLS AMG?
Lesson: speed in Switzerland only if you can afford to lose both!

It's not *grossly misleading* the fine you refer to was for a previous traffic ticket by a different driver. What' IS your point?

It is very misleading for one simple fact: He isn't facing even remotely close to a $1m fine. The "record" fine is less than 1/3 that amount. This guy wasn't going any faster and his income isn't any higher based on the relatively "low end" car.
Somebody with the income to get the full $1m fine would be driving a $650,000+ super car, not an off the shelf $200,000 SL. The issue with that is, people smart enough to get a in position making that much money aren't stupid enough to drive 180mph in Switzerland. A low-level executive with an SL, is.
By your logic, EVERYONE that speeds 15mph over in Switzerland faces a $1m fine!
