Spark Plug Connector
I am new to Mercedes, Are the spark plug connectors a must if changing the plugs and wires? I have a 2000 c230. Anyone know if I need and if so, which are the correct parts?

Notes: For Direct Coil Ignition As used on M 104 motors,for cylinders 2,4 and 6. Fits directly on to coil . As used on M 111 motors,for cylinders 2 and 4. Fits directly on to coil .

connectors are always a nice to have connected to the spark plugs. If you mean do you need to change them, if you are changing wires the connectors come with wires. Unless I am reading your post incorrectly, I might not understand what you are referring to?
I re-read your post, are you talking about the connectors that connect the spark plug wires to the coil packs? They also come with the new wires I would think?

I am getting ready to do a plug change, debating on whether to change the wires also, veh has 57K miles. I had never seen such a part sold seperately so I was wondering if it was something additional I needed to purchase if changing just the plugs, or if changing the plugs and wires.
