I have been looking on Ebay for a new spare key fob for my 2004 C180k coupe as I have only one, will I still need to go to a mercs dealer to get it programmed? I have enquireds how much a new key from MB would cost and have been told £250.
Any help would be appreciated

 

I'm pretty sure you are looking at going to the dealership. You can call a couple and see if their prices are the same, but when I lost a key and went back there, it was pricey to say the least and yes, they did have to program the key to the car. Sorry about the bad news but I think this is right. Or not. It was for me. :-(
