Hello. My mom's passenger side mirror is no longer controlled by the control button, and is loose and pointing down. Is there a DIY (do it yourself) for this, or do you know where I can get a service manual. Any other advice with this?

 

I had the same issue with my 2000 C280. It happined the day after I got it so it was under warranty. The shop said that the mirror just came off the track and it was a very simple job. I would say pop the case off and try and do it yourself. I would check sites like benzworld.org under the DIY for instructions.
