Default Scraping noise when turn right

Hi, All! I have a 95 c220, recently when I make a right hand turn, I can hear a scraping noise coming from the driver's side wheel. If I brake while the right turning, there is no more noise, as soon as I release the brake, the scraping noise come back again. The noise can be heard no matter sharp or soft right turn. Could any one give me a suggestion what problem it could be? Thanks a lot!

it could be 2 things: dirty brake pads or suspension problem (shock).

Turn the left wheel until it locks out then look for signs of scraping inside the wheel well. If there is then it can be a blown strut or a bad bearing if there are no scrapes.

I have a 2003 C230 and had a similair issue and it was a control arm problem.

I think it was about $400.00 CDN to repair.

FYI,

Good luck with it.

I have replaced the front pads and rotors, the problem isstill there. And there is a new problem, I can feel the wheel shaking every three or four seconds on speed 110kms, could it be the steering damper broken?
