I have a 1995 C280 and the blower motor seems to scrape on the plastic cover (especially at low speeds). I can remove the blower motor cover, push up on the center of the motor and reinstall the cover and the scraping sound goes away for awhile. However, gravity takes over, the motor falls a little and begins to scrape the plastic again. Any ideas on how to keep the blower motor in its correct position to keep it from falling and scraping the plastic cover?
