...can you provide the info on where you got the harness......very likely i need to replace the one on my 94 c280.. I did some work on my timing chain months back and I sure did disturbed that crispy crusty wires on the engine, some of them just falling apart on its own.

There's another useful Mercedes site called mercedeshop.com. On the top toolbar, you select 'Buyparts' and it connects you to an area called 'Fastlane' which has a lot of the more common parts for your car. There is also a telephone number and email address for nonlisted parts. I called that number and the gentleman was very helpful and knowledgable. Plus, they were approx. $100 less than the Mercedes dealer. Good luck on the wire harness.
