Default Removal of cd player

Hi, I recently bought a 1998 automatic C240, when i bought it i wasnt given a cd key to remove the cd player (if there is one). I went to a mercedes dealer and asked if it were possible to buy one, they said no as it was a security measure to stop merc cd players being stolen. Is there any way i can get the cd player out of my car?

Thanks for the help

the radio code should have come with your car. if it didnt, ask the person whom u got the car from. or u could always use the forever beloved guess and check method.

If you lost the radio code and can't find it. Visit your local dealer and have all ID and paperwork ready including registration and Drivers Lic. They may or may not charge for the code.
