Default Rear Sunshade

I have a 2001 c240 and the rear sunshade is stuck in the up position. I've tried installing a new fuse but that was instantly blown. I really don't have any interest is really using the sunshade so does anyone know if there's a way to manually crank the sunshade so that it's down?

Thanks in advance

you have to remove/reinstall the motor.

to do that, you need to remove the whole assembly.

position it down and reinstall.

Is there a guide on how to remove the sunshade? Can it be removed all together without affecting the esthetics of the car?

I drove with mine UP for about 6 months and then for some odd reason, in switching out fuses, the darn thing went down.
