Default Racing chip?

I have a 2002c230k. All I want to do is mod it well and cheaply. I have come to the conclusion that this is almost impossible. However, I have a friend who is a genius with automobiles and he said that I should install a racing chip. He said it shouldn't be too much money and that it will work well with the supercharger. He said he could easily install in but wouldn't know what to buy. What racing chips/performace chips would you suggest. Any other mod suggestions are appreciated.

You would need at least a pulley change to get some substantial power gains for this engine. On this engine will the power gain from software flash alone, not be so much - Look for pulley changeand software flash.

With our SI ECU alone, expected gains are 15hp, 16lb-ft using 91 octane. Price is $449.99 to forum members.

Yes, but even better if you get a file made for the octane you are to use.
