Hey, hopefully someone could help me out....I have had a problem for the past month now starting my c280. The car ether starts perfectly or sometimes starts then stalls, or even doesn’t start at all for the first few trys. Im not sure what the problem could be. I have just replaced the spark plugs and the problem seems better, but it still happens.....Other symptoms that may be related is that there is a slow reaction time when pushing the gas by a bit, a little bit of a rough idle, and the smell of oil or exhaust that is coming from behind the engine by the fire wall.

I’m thinking maybe fuel pump, ignition coils, or maybe a leaky gasket of some sort…opinions and/or help would be greatly appreciated.

......lol i also have the ABS, BAS/ASR light that come on together out of random when driving sometimes, doesnt seem to serious, but input would also be appreciated......

Check your Air Mass unit, spark plug wires, air filter. I had a lot of similar symptoms when my Air Mass unit went bad.
