When i leave my car for 24 hours, i can not start it any more and my battery is dead. Did any one have this problem before? Also, if you change your own oil do you know ho wto reset the computer so it does not show service A needed? Thanks for any help figuring these 2 things out.

 

maybe yoy battery needs replacement and have your alternator check if you alternator is charging the it only your battery. there is a way to reset the service indicator but i dont remember how at this moment.

Thanks for the reply. I changed the battery and the alternator is working fine. When I called MB they said that one of the computers is not shutting of but they could not tell me anything else, has to go to dealer..
I was just able to reset following earlier directions given on this forum.

 

if your battery and charging system are fine ive seen the drivers seat control module on multiple occasions not olet the CAN (controller area network) go to sleep. one night before u leave your ca r unplug the control module under the drivers seat. its hard to get to on some modles without taking all the seat frame bolts out. but if u have a fuse diagram behined the drivers side dash panel just find the fuse and pull it out for a night. im also assuming it is a 203 chassis since you didnt say what year it is
