300 TE central locking power drain
My central locking pump is running when the car stands and is draining the battery. I have located the pump under the rear seat and when I unplug it the pump stops running. I am uncertain if the pump has a fault or if a line has split or come off somewhere causing the pump to run continually.
I have disconnected the two lines and tried holding my fingers over the end of the pump unit outlets but the pump continues to run is this a good enough test to confirm the pump is at fault or is there a controling relay somewhere or door switch problem ?

RE: 300 TE central locking power drain
there is a leak on the line.
pump will keep on working for a certain time till a certain cut-off pressure is attained.
if no leak, then internal pump fault is present.
