Hi

Can anybody please help me and read off the first letters and digits off their 2001 C240? A very obnoxious guy backed into my 280SL today and was going to take off until I passed him and got him to stop. He then handed me his insurance card and I asked him if he was the guy listed on that card, because he didn't have his drivers license.

He lied and I unfortunately copied the brokers name and number and only THE LAST 6 DIGITS of his VIN. I thought I had enough and he was being very pushy. Can anyone please give me the WBA....... for a 2001 C240?

Your guess was right. It was a 4 door sedan. Would the numbers for a 2 door sedan be any different or were they in the same series of numbers as the 4 door sedans?

why don't you just tell me the last 6 VIN numbers that you got so i can answer you straight?

Is that Blue 359 a very dark Blue (this one was). So the fact that this was a US car, affected the first digits as opposed to a European market car?
