I have a C280 on a 96 plate that is giving me grief.
I haven't used the car for about a year and after charging the battery everything worked without any problems. However, after leaving it for a few days I now find that when locking the car using the remote, after about 30 seconds the alarm goes off. I've also noticed that the interior light doesn't come on when I open the door either. I have checked all the fuses and the correct settings for the interior light switches but nothing seems to resolve the issue. Can anyone shed any light (no pun intended) on this rather annoying problem.
