I've been drooling over the Facelift C300 since it first came out in 2012, and I finally gathered enough to go out and buy one yesterday evening. Had it checked out by a trusted local auto shop, and it gave me a clean code scan except for one:

U016800: Something about a Malfunction with the Electric Ignition.


Should I be worried? What does this mean? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the response!

The car is unfortunately not in warranty. I've put about 300+ miles within the past 48 hours, and I don't think I've had any issues at all. I'm happy that I took it to my mechanic, thankfully everything else came out clear.

I did some research and I think I should be okay. I'll ride it out until I'm forced to fix it, lol.
