need help with back seat

need help with back seat

got a new kompressor and can't find the "release handle" in the trunk to fold down the back seat. Any suggestions? is the manual wrong on this?

Manual shows a release handle but nowhere to be found..?

If the seats are the same as my 2002 coupe the release is on the outboard top corner of the seat backs. It is accessible from inside the car, not the rear (unless the sun shield is removed first).
