Smile Need advice on my Mercedes

Hey everyone! new to this board. Would be great of anyone can help me out with a small issue. I have a 96' Mercedes c220 that I purchased from a previous owner. Everything was great until I turned on the air conditioner. The car started to jerk a bit and I smelt rubber burning. Might have been due to a belt loosing traction from a/c area of motor. not really sure what part could be malfunctioning. This only happens when I turn a/c on. Any tips or hints would be appreciated!

When you turn on the air conditioner that is sending a message to the ac to engage the clutch, I would have someone turn on the ac and you can watch it under the hood..
