Default MB Canada Fixes Rust on Goodwill

I own a 2002 C320 Wagon. I love this car and was extremly sad when it developed rust on all 4 doors this spring. The rust is on the lower edge of all doors. Apparently there is a faulty seal which allows moisture into the inner panel. The car is past the warranty period and therfore I thought I was going to have to dump the car. There is no way I am driving a rusted Mercedes. On a whim I stopped by the Mercedes dealer in Calgary for advice. They told me that I may actually have a claim and I should take it to Distinctive Autoworks in Calgary, the western Canada body shop for MB. They took pictures of the damage and told me there is a 50/50 chance MB will do something about it. I asked the tech what my options are if they don't. He said to dump the car. You cannot repair this kind of rust. It is inside the door. He also said that if MB steps up I will get 4 new doors. He called the next day and told me a specialist was flying in the next day to look at the car. I had to rent a car to drive home as I live in BC now, but thought it was worth the cost. Well it was. Today, 2 months later, I got confirmation that MB is supplying 4 new doors.$8,000 repair for free.Yeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaa!
I will buy MB again. No doubt.
