Hello, I was thinking about grabbing a used 2002 c32 AMG. I found one for cheap and was wondering if the maintenance was more costly than if I bought just a regular 2002 non-AMG c-class. In other words, does the AMG make it more expensive to take care of?

 

I haven't found so. If anything, my AMG has been less expensive to maintain than my fiancees C240 4-Matic. The only issues I've had (i.e. cracked fog light, failed seat control module) would not seem to be unique to AMG. On the down side, AMG does burn through petrol a bit quicker[:-], but it is worth it.
