Front right low beam has gone out. Just curious if anyone has done a DIY replacment and if there are any tricks I should know before I attempt it. Car is a 2002 C230 K coupe...

It is an easy DIY replacement. Check in your manual for what type of bulb it needs. Mine took H7s I believe... I replaced mine with superwhites a while back. All you have to do is twist off the cap at the back of the headlights and pull out the part that holds the bulb. You have to turn the bulb as well, but be careful handling the bulbs. Just take the old bulb out and put the new one into the assembly. The new bulb should not be touched except on the metal or with a cloth that won't leave fibers (like microfiber). Putting the bulb assembly in requires a little bit of patience in getting it just right so that it will go in straight and line up so you can turn it so that it's secure.
