before installing k&n air filter into 2007 c230 sport do you need to dry it from the oil?
how many filters does the 2007 c230 need?

Mine was takin out if the box and installed in less then 5 min.

I'm not even sure what that means, but..........

K&N air filters come pre-oiled from the factory and ready to install as they are.
You will see the pleats of the filter with a red oil already on them. Leave the filter as is and install.
There is a specific procedure you do when you go to clean them, which, honestly, isn't all that frequent.
BUT, when you do, or IF you do, get the K&N filter cleaner in a bottle and follow instructions carefully.
Then use the K&N oil in a small spray can and again, follow instructions carefully. If you don't, you will only
screw up not only the filter, but maybe more. Enough said.
