Hi everyone.
Had my c280 for about 2 years now. I got it with only 16,000 km and it was running great. Lately though I noticed the transmission behaving in a strange way:
when accelerating to 50km/h and then releasing the accelerator pedal it tries to gear down and produces a very jerky shift. Also when traveling above 80km/h if I try to accelerate rapidly the engine rpms jump up from 2500 to 3500-4500 rapidly but the car does not accelerate at all, after a short delay maybe 3-4 seconds the car shoots forward rapidly.
I also had a bmw 320 before and the transmission responded properly as you would expect. So this is quite strange to me. When I took it to service last year and told them about the problem, they said that its normal and that everything is fine. But I suspect otherwise.
Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
