Jack Rabbit jumping locking actuator.
My 2003 C-240 door locking actuator is jumping up and down after it is being locked up, either with remote or reaching the 9 mile an hour limit. I tracked down an actuator on the net, but then on the Bay, I found a repair kit that consists of a spring and instructions on replacing it. Has anyone ever repaired their actuator or just replaced it. The replacement is 149 dollars, the spring and instructions are 29 dollars. Just wondering if anyone had tried the repair, if so, how successful?
