IT'S FIXED !!! HELP : Engine barely runs ! (C240) after battery dis-connect
Well, I dis-connected the battery in hopes of re-setting the ECU and take it out of "security mode" and now the car starts but the engine just aberly runs !!! Help car is now un-drivable !! :-(((

I did what u said lugnut : disconnected Negative, then positive connected 2 together 15 seconds thenput pos on then neg. NO CHANGE car still starts but will not rev ..... help can't even move car to my garage !

No probleme with battery connectors : this is an ECU issue for sure ! engine starts but just idles will take a few revs but then barely idles. help !

I think it might be mechanical. I don't know what, though It's takes just a little bit of time or miles for ECU codes and modes to set. The ECU won't instantly be in limp mode after a reset.
When the car first did this, had it been sitting for over a day?

No, the car was driven the day before, like I said all was ok (no warning lights on the dash) except that gas mileage was starting to go up and idle wasnot perfect - nothing bad but it would stumble some especialy when cold.
All I did was dis-connect then re-connect the battery....

check pressure from service valve. maybe blocked fuel filter.
i know your engine and i never heard such problem with ecu before.
