yet another iPOD question , I can't seem to find a definitive answer in these groups...

I have a 2005 C230 Sport Sedan w/ the upgraded Harmon Stereo (command) & I can get to the AUX setting by holding down CDC....I can't find the Aux input? some people say in the glove box, I see nothing? How do I get my iPOD into this deck? The iTRIP is a joke... thanks!!

Basically, you have to buy and connect the AUX input cable yourself. (or ask dealer to install it)

iPod kit is $299.99.
Holder is $14.99.

Good thing about iPod kit over AUX is you can charge your iPod.

 

do you have a link or a pic of the item. Interested in doing the same to my c230. Not sure if it would work with a 2006 model. I imagine it should.

I'm reasonably adept @ this sort of thing, is the removal of the door & panel pieces difficult? screws? what kind of procedure there if possible would be helpful, I'm leasing & in no way want to mess anything up anyway!
