Default iPod in 2002 C230

Hey Everyone... I'm new and love this site, wish I would have found it years ago!! I have a 2002 C230 Komp Sports Coupe... and currently I am using a iTrip on my iPod and it is not very effective. I am looking for a new way to listen to my iPod in my car. I have tried numerous different ways, I've had my car since 2001 and have tried every trick in the book. I have yet to change out my factory head unit and really would like to avoid that. Does anyone know if there is a way to send a AUX cable to the (factory) headunit or 6-disc changer??? Thanks guys =)

Did you try and get the Dension iPod? It's aftermarket, but it may work well in your car.

greetingz,

I have mine connected to a Clairion in dash DVD player. There adapter cord was like $40. I think if you can do it with a dvd player you should be able to do that with any aftermarket radio. I'd go to a local Car audio shop.

Or get K1's product. He's got a great deal and has a great business!

I used my ipod with the tape deck adapter in my '02 C320. Had to route the cable a lil weird on the fold down face but it works just fine.

I've never really done the tape deck thing... because of the screen folding down and so i can't close the deck... but the transmitter works good... i just loose so much quality and volume and sometimes it picks up satelite radio when people drive by... or when i'm stuck at a light.. sucks... but i went to the websites suggested and they all say they are not compatible with my car (02 c230k coupe).... I really need to find an aux outlet or do something... without changing factory things. no success yet =(
