I have 14,000 on my CR230. My gripes are the following - owning past Mercedes and having wonderful experiences. Leather staying in great shape. My last mercedes had close to 300,000 miles and leather was in great shape. So far, I have replaced around steering wheel, dashboard and console between driver and passenger front seat. Was told by Mercedes not to use no amoral and only wipe off with a damp cloth. Have done as told and it is again peeling, especially on console betweend driver and passenger front seat. Find this car expensive, since Mercedes now pays for no service. At 14,000 miles have had two oil changes, since service A popped up after one year and service B popped up after two years even though there was only 6,000 miles on the first year. Have replaced front brakes and rotors. Find this car to be a pricey car. Also not up to the past Mercedes quality. Would be interested to know if anybody else experience leather peeling? Thanks

What is a CR230? Sounds like a Motorcycle of some kind?

My leather in my '06 C230 looks the same as it did the day I drove it off the lot. I have 7600 on it in about 16 months. I too did the A Service at 12 months - how long do you want to keep your oil anyways!
