Hi
I just got my C320 2002, it did not come with a manual, so I was wondering how the alarm system works, the key does lock and unlock the car, when that happens the regular light flashing happens, if I keep pressing panic the car start to flash on and off. And of course when I lock the car the radio blinks red.

However I was wondering from my previous experience, is there no sound ? I mean shouldnt there be a beep or some sound when I unlock/lock.

The beep option is linked to your country code setting. I think if you used the Netherlands code it will beep. I prefer the visual 3 flashes instead. The LED on the radio should flash & the anti-tow away icon should flash when the car is armed. If you register at MBUSA.com you can download the manual for your car. I did not check if U R in the US or not. I might have a link to a PDF file if that does not work.

 

Thanks for the update, well the car is a US car, imported to Lebanon. All what you mentioned is correct I get the 3 flashes.Can I change country code settings ?
