So I got the old rear rotors off, the new ones don't seem to fit but theyre identical to the old ones. The parking brake ring seems to be in the way. ive tried fitting the rotor with the parking brake engaged, disengaged, in park and in neutral. nothing seems to be working.

 

You should not apply the emergency brake when the rotor is off the car. It pushes the brake shoes out too far. if you can put the old rotor back on and you need to adjust the star wheel through the lug bolt holes
