Default Help with ASSYST

Hi all.

New owner of a 2005 C240 sedan here. Love the car. Having trouble with the service reset. I found the "A" and "B" service indicators using the multi-function steering wheel. I reset (using the trip meter reset button) "A" and then reset "B". Now I can't get the display out of "B Service in 13,000 miles". Also the display is not counting down - seems to be stuck at 13,000. I can cycle the display through the other functions, but when I get back to the service reminder screen, there it is again "B service in 13,000 miles".

I know that this system is dynamic. Is it just trying to get a read on my driving style before it resumes the counts??

Dan

Just went down to check the mileage when my wife got home (her car) and find that the mileage counter in the reminder has indeed begun to wind down - but it still seems to be stuck displaying service "B" interval. About 35 miles since the reset.

Total miles at 20,200+. I did the service "B" last weekend as I just got the car and didn't get any service records with it.

Will the car let me, at some point, see the service "A" counter again?

Thanks
