Looking at a new (to me) 2005 C240. I do my own service, and have been researching this board for instructions on resetting the service light. The dealer tells me that the 2005 can't be reset by the driver, but the ASSYST reset instructions found here sure look like they'd work for anyone to me.

So how about it? Can the driver reset the ASSYST on 2005 C240s or does it have to go to the dealership?

yes you can except for service C or service 3.

One more question? I assume that servce "C" or "3" is the heavy duty one. Can you tell me the major service points in that level and the mileage/time frequency please?
