Has anyone had issues with rim stains on the C230 Coupes.

It seems to look like rust.

I have that problem on my 280.

I owned Detroit and Jap cars with alloy wheels before; never had that problem. Only on Benz.

i see some yellowish/brownish discoloration also, but after spraying a degreaser or a little rubbing with kerosene, they come off easily.

the rim is of aluminum, so it is unlikely that it can be rust.

On my rims....they look like layers are peeling off from the aluminum alloy.

I will try to take some picture and post them here next time.
