Is there anyone out there who honestly likes the looks of the Sport Coupes? I was thinking of purchasing one because they are a good value, but I just can't get past the rear styling. Any thoughts?[:'(]

 

When I went looking for a car 3 years ago, I had my mind set on buying the coupe, however the seats were very unconfortable, as I have a very, very bad back. If it were not for that I would have bought one. I probably would have traded it this year as they offer the V6. Gotta love it!

 

i think the new redesigned 2005 are really nice.

 

I agree, Mercedes took some of the "bulk" out of the car.

 

I have a 2002 c230 Coupe with nearly every option except for the CD changer which i regret not getting. Like you, i really didn't care for the rear quarters of this car when i 1st saw it.. but over the years of ownership, its become better lookin'. The 05 refresh makes it even more stunning... make sure you get the Xenon lighting! There are many used ones out there for a real bargain... but make sure you get one that is certified.. becuase the sunroof gremlin might get ya! Nearly every year.. i have to bring in the panoramic roof for servicing becuase it won't open properly. Also, i have a re-occuring problem with the sway bar becoming loose. Driving like a mad-man might attibute to this.

Rumor has it that 05 will be the last year of the coupe being sold in the US... so pick one up soon before it is too late... and if it is.. you can always check out the new Audi A3.
