I am having a problem with my gauges. I have a 1996 c 280. The problem is: sometimes my gauges work and sometimes they dont. When they don't work none of the gauges work and when they do work ALL of the gauges work. I thought it was a ground problem but a mercedes mechanic said that the gauge cluster needed to be replaced. If so does anyone know how to remove the gauge cluster. I am an experienced auto mechanic but i haven't removed a gauge cluster from an MB. Any input?
