Front Rotors & Pads

RE: Front Rotors & Pads
Don't mean to avoid answering this, but......this GREATLY depends on how much freeway driving or stop and go driving you do and how you drive. I've seen people post here and say their brake and rotor life was very short. Others, such as myself, who do a lot of freeway driving so we aren't on the brakes much, can get a lot longer life. Really depends. That's the real answer. Usually on these cars, as you probably know, people want to replace the rotors along with the pads. It's not that expensive if you shop around or do the work yourself. You will need ONE brake sensor, about 8 bucks online, for the right front ONLY. That is correct for your year car, since I have the same car. One sensor, right front. If the brake wear light comes on, that will have to be replaced. I would replace it at time of brake job anyway. But that's me. OK>

RE: Front Rotors & Pads
Thank you.
I bought this car with 17K miles. It has 25K at this time and i took it in for service B.
Got a call from service advisor that needed to replace them.
I just wanted to know if there is an average lifetime.
Thanks again
